Welcome to the Tuesday post for all subscribers, a photo essay featuring some snaps from a farmers’ market walk in early summer. On Friday, paid subscribers will receive a recipe for pina coladas. As always, thanks for being here. You can read more about me and what I do here.
During summer walks through farmers’ markets, I sometimes feel that my soul is about to burst out of my body. All that color! All the textures! All of the infinite possibilities of things to cook and bake and look at! Reader, I simply cannot.
I went early this summer to Chicago’s famous Green City Market with
to do some idea scouting for our upcoming retreat. What a treat to walk slowly through the market with a culinary creative, daydreaming about the flavors and colors together. I snapped some photos, of course, and wanted to share a color study with you featuring the beautiful reds and pinks we saw that morning. Enjoy!Of course, I also want to shout out the vendors who were kind enough not to question our photography: Nichols Farm & Orchard, Windy City Mushroom, and The Flower Garden. Thank you, friends!
See you back here on Friday for pina coladas!
