Welcome to the Tuesday post for all subscribers, about a key factor in the work that I do. On Friday, paid subscribers will receive a recipe for an herby corn risotto in another delightful departure from the sweet treats kick I’ve been on. As always, thanks so much for being here. You can read more about me and what I do here.
I am not a patient person. I do not bide my time well; I live in the moment and with an urgency that irks unhurried people everywhere. I’ve learned to bury my impatience and to work around it over the years of working with clients and coworkers, but lately I’ve been faced with another challenge to my already-strained patience meter: not being able to share a lot of the work that I have been doing.
Many of the projects I’m working on now are the stuff of dreams: projects I’ve been pursuing and dreaming about for years. Many of these projects, however, won’t see the light of day for a very, very long time. Many of them I can’t even talk about just yet! And so I’m stuck, sitting on a new library of work that excites me beyond reason and unable to say anything publicly about them. I feel as though I’ve been keeping a secret for months, and I might just burst before I can finally tell you.
For now, here are some outtakes from some of these projects. I hope they pique your interest and curiosity…more to come on these soon!
See you back here on Friday for herby corn risotto!
I feel this so hard. Cheers to all the work done "in the dark". <3
